Installation

Prerequisites​

  • WordPress 6.9 or later
  • WooCommerce active
  • PHP 7.4 or later
  • Non-production environment (local/staging)

Standard Installation​

  1. Copy plugin folder to:
wp-content/plugins/suma-test-woocommerce-gateway
  1. In WordPress Admin, go to Plugins.
  2. Activate Suma Test WooCommerce Gateway.
  3. Go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Payments.
  4. Enable Suma Test Gateway.

Activation Validation Checklist​

  • Plugin appears in active plugins list.
  • Payment method appears under WooCommerce Payments.
  • Checkout shows "Suma Test Gateway" as an option.
  • Gateway fieldset shows outcome radios (approve/decline).

Environment Recommendations​

  • Keep plugin disabled on production.
  • Restrict gateway use to authenticated test users where possible.
  • Pair with test shipping/tax configurations to exercise full order flows.
